There used to be Shoney's Restaurants all over the place. That's no longer true as many have closed down in the last ten years. So I look forward to my "Shoney's Fix" when I am in Parkersburg. Their breakfast bar is still the best! But I really go to Shoney's for their potato soup. Put a spoonful of bacon bits in the bottom of the bowl, then pour on the soup. Excellent! I also still enjoy the triple-decker burger and onion rings. So I drive 400 miles to go to Shoney's. (OK, to see the family, too.) Please don't close it down! less
