i do not know what i am going to say about shogun, ...the food is great, the chef wow, ..they do know what their doing. The food is wonderful and it is so much fun to watch them cook right in front of you. The person that does the cooking is usually funny and very friendly. I had the suhi at Shogun. It was pretty good. The sushi chef was nice with a good sense of humor. The beer was icy and great. It is relatively difficult to find good, quality sushi in Alabama, but Shogun will do in a pinch if you are having a craving. The atmosphere here was really nice.about the sushi chef, his name is bona i think, very nice personality, warm, and he know how to make you feel like home. i would recomend you guys to go and eat sushi at shogun. he works wed-sat. go and check him out. less

Although the price can be high, this is a great place to go for special occassions or a night out for some fun. Watching the cooks is the greatest and most have a great routine in fixing your food for you. Check it out....you won't regret it. more

However, I LOVE sushi. I had the suhi at Shogun. It was pretty good. The sushi chef was nice with a good sense of humor. The beer was icy and great. It was low-lit, and seemingly rich with texture and art. I think it would be a fun place to start a date. less
