We live in Marshall and the Pub is a favorite of ours for casual dining.
Schuler's still draws hundreds of thousands to Historic Marshall
every year. This 98 year old family business now is transitioning to
the 4th generation of Schuler's. Ch ...

The defunct West Bloomfield restaurant in this chain is still among
my alltime favorites, what a salad bar. This place is decent, but the
magic is gone.

I'd never been to Schueler's and was worried we weren't
dressed well enough after a day on the road. Was I wrong, we had
just missed being able to eat in the dining room and were directed
to the bar area. People who seemed to be regu ...

This is a place who's reputation exceeds it's quality.
Frequented by grandma and grandpa, the food seems pre-masticated.
The Sunday buffet is large but mediocre. Why bother?

It was so wonderful. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding

This was the first Schuler's in what became a small chain. Now,
I think it's back to being the only Schuler's. It's a nice place--roomy,
well decorated, a nice place to go for a special occasion. People
rave about the food, but as a vegetarian, ...

The reputation is dying---this used to be one of Michigan's most
famous restaurants. The food is still good, but it is getting
a little too expensive for what you get.

As a young man just returned from WW2, Win Schuler remodeled his
dads bowling alley into a 200 seat restaurant. This was considered
rather foolish at the time but Win made it the best (and best known)
place to eat between Detroit and Chicago. Wi ...
