The Schmankerl Stube serves very good Bavarian food at reasonable prices. There is an excellent selection of beers and wines. One special -- a pork shank -- provides a heroic serving of excellent roasted pork with appropriate sides. Have an appetizer and the pork shank will serve two. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Charles, the owner is usually present -- and usually clad in liederhosen -- and will see to any reasonable request. There is a pleasant outside garden for dining in good weather. less
