Fabulous eclectic hole in the wall restaurant near City Market, with original artwork on the brick walls and fresh unusual floral arrangements (no red carnations or wilted daisies!) at the bar and tables.
The food is unusual and delicious, with an ever-changing menu. Be sure to ask your waitperson for their recommendation - they're familiar with the dishes and what's especially good that day.
Broiled grouper was out-of-this-world, but don't be afraid to try something new. We've eaten there twice and have always had exceptional, memorable food.
Don't forget desserts. All good, all rather unusual.
It ain't cheap - 2 of us paid $115.00 (STILL cheaper than Bella's) for appetizers, entrees, desserts and 4 drinks - but well worth it.
The only disappointment was the portion size. Some were adequate, some were not. (The entree portion size of one dish was the same as the appetizer portion at twice the price.)
Wonderful ambiance, knowledgeable and very friendly staff, and exceptionally good food. less
