I really enjoy going to Salvatore's. The quality of their food is excellent. The Complete Dinner is a great value (if you consider that an average restaurant charges at least $4 or $5 for desserts, and at Salvatore there are included in the price of entrees (from $9.95)and you get to choose from a wide selection including the best Tirami Su that I ever tasted) you understand why it is a great value. less

YOUR RESTAURANT IS GREAT!!!!!...My date and I had reservations at 8:30pm at your restaurant last night. I wanted to say thanks to the waiter that served us last night (7/23/04). I dont remember his name but it was a guy and he was serving us during the time of 8pm - 9:15pm. He was very polite and there was no delay whatsoever with our food. Once a plate was done, he was there to pick up the empty plates, and replace it with the next item. Old well established restaurant consiting of three restaurants with varying menus, The Village being the most unique of the three. Excellent, freshly prepared Italian specialties, served by courteous waiters, as you dine in a romantic atmosphere in a dining room resembling a small Italian countryside village with twinkling lights and small houses surrounding the main dining area. Salvatore! What a pleasant surprise we had with you last night! As we mentioned, a friend said we should try your establishment for some good home style Italian food. He was right. You special with the capers, chicken breast and penne with the light cream sauce was to die for. Needless to say, we were very impressed and will visit you frequently. We also greatly enjoyed the Barbara D'Alba. Very fine choice of vineyards and without question, very easy and delightful drinking. Having spent 7 years in the wine importing business in the 70's, I always look for a great bargain while dining. This in my opinion was just that, a great value.
This past June we traveled to Italy and seeing that Italian food and wine have always been my favorites, my world of food and wine had many doors opened during our stay. What a great place to travel and dream of living in some time in our future. Anyway, your food and the complimenting wine, made these thoughts of our trip return. We'll see you again for dinner soon.
