Excellent! A must go! We ate at the rusty duck on December 14 a friday night. The place was hopping, Every table was taken, we waited for about 10 minutes and were seated, It was a like being a in mountian cabin. With a couple of fire place's, very rustic. We were gretted very prompt, the waitress was very nice. We orderd the duck platter to start, it came with calamri, a duck spring roll, and a cajun shrimp, the calamari had a tempura batter on it, I orderd the chef's daily special It was a seafood pasta with clams, mussels and shrimp, it was excellent, it reminded me of when my wife and I went to Italy, My wife had the grilled Mahi Mahi, it came with rice and vegetables, our friend had the Prime Rib, it came with vegetable and mashed potatoes, All the entree's were excellent, I would order them again. for deserts we all orderd different things just to see. I had the lava cake, my wife had the apple tart and our friend had the the cheese cake. All were excellent. I would tell anyone go check it out, You will defently like it. less

Recommended by our hotel consierge, we decided to give the Rusty Duck a shot. It exceeded our expectations. Waitstaff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. We ordered the Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes appetizer and my wife ordered the regular cut Prime Rib dinner and I ordered the Ribs/Duck Combo dinner. Portions were most generous. We managed to empty our plates and fill ourselves, but there was no room for dessert - and their desserts looked fabulous. We loved the food, the atmospehere, and watching boats on the river in the moonlight. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner for two, but save room for their desserts! less

Built on stilts by the river and covered with ivy, this restaurant is a very appealing sight. The inside is decorated with various wood and earth tones. The service was excellent and the food was prepared and presented in an appealing manner. However, i felt there could be more of it. The portions were very small. Upstairs, there is a cozy little bar that had a jazz band the night we were there. Overall a very relaxing experience. less
