A friend of mine, a vegetarian, had a choice of polenta--which really isn't much of a choice. And it ain't really Russian, either. At $300+ for dinner for four, I expected more. less

I Have been to the Russian Tea Room approximately 4 times. I must say I have never been disappointed ..... the staff is always friendly and cordial and the food always superior, the decor magnificent. This opinon is not mine alone, as I always bring parties of 4 or 6 with me to dine. The management is very obliging when it comes to viewing the third and fourth floors.......which I might add have been decorated in elegance to the enth.
All in all this is fast becoming one of my most favorite New York City Restaurants to frequent. less
