I am a long time resident of the area. I've been to Rotten Ralphs several times over the past 10 years. It has the reputation of being a tourist trap but occasionally I've gone there for the view. I guess I've also gone for nostagia, because the restaurant that used to occuppy that location, Fasy Eddy's, was exceptional. Well, my last visit will be my last visit ever. I went with my husband and our 16 month old daughter. Rotten Ralph's doesn't have a children's menu so we were going to give her some food off our plates. The waiter, Kevin, was very rude and told us that we couldn't share with her. After our protest he eventually relented but he never checked on us. He never offered to refill our drinks and we had to flag him down to get the check. Of course after we got the fish and chips, we really didn't want to feed them to our daughter because they tasted like they had been fried in old lard. The breading was awful and was extremely greasy. If your in the area, try the Sandbar Restaurant. The food is much better, the service is good, and the view cannot be beat. less

I have to say that although this place was recommended to us, I am not enthusiastic about endorsing it. The food is mediocre, the menu totally uninspired, the service indifferent and very amateurish and the rest rooms as well as the restaurant in general are not clean. It was surprising to see this, as it is in a pricey marina where I would have expected better. The plus side consists solely of the "on the water" location but this alone is not enough to make this place worth a visit. Too much good competition in the area. Don't bother folks. less
