Service is getting better and the food is still to die for. There's a reason the Arkansas Times is thinking of retiring this category, Rod's always wins! My favorite is the Galileo made with their homemade italian sausage and the Collossus made with a little bit of everything. As for pasta, there is no better dish in the country than Patty's White Mannicotti. less

Have tried this place a few times and have always left wondering why I return! The service is horrible! Waited at the door one time for almost 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. Even once you are eating you may only see your server when they take your order, and when they bring your food. Refills for my drink, even water are almost non-existent. The pizza is fair also. Everyone says order the Godfather, but I was not impressed. I guess it was fine if I wanted to eat the toppings off the crust with a fork. The crust is tasteless and almost an afterthought to the product. However, good pizza is first determined by the crust! The salad bar is always half stocked when I have been there, and the couple of times I have tried other entrees on the menu I have been disappointed by poor tasting sauces, inferior quality ingredients and dismal presentation. This restaurant comes off the list of possibles when considering where to eat out. less

I Have eaten at Rods on several occasions. If you Like Pizza it is very good, However If you like service, it is the worst restaurant in Hot Springs.When you walk into the reataurant there are little notes all over the place with warnings on them telling you how they will charge you extra if "they feel they should" and the waitresses hate thier job and they show it in theier faces as well as the way they serve you. I would think twice before dining inside the reataurant just get the pizza to go you would be happier I promise!!!!! less
