This is a lovely restaurant sitting right on the Yough river which was very romantic, picturesque, and relaxing. The food was fine and not just typical fare. It is close to Ohiopyle and the walking trails which make's its location very desireable. The wait service was fine. Recommendations for change: Please get rid of the plastic chairs. They don't match the general "antique" ambience and are hardly comfortable. Additionally on hot days, those with shorts also stick tot hem. The wine list is limited for those getting a carafe or glass. But on the whole I recommend that anyone go there for the beauty and the food. less

What bothered me and our party was the way the wait staff presented themselves, very much snobbish. The sevice was poor at best and the food was even worse. I had a chicken salad thay was nothing but lettuce thrown in the bowl (it was warm like it had been setting out and three onion rings with four slivers of chicken.It was awful.I'm sorry to say but the truth is the truth.Think twice before dining here.I know that we will never go back. less

The food here is excellent and the scenery is gorgeous. The restaurant sits right on the edge of the Yough River and in nice weather you can sit on the patio and watch the ducks, fisherman and rafters on the river. The only problem we had when we ... more

The food here is excellent and the scenery is gorgeous. The restaurant sits right on the edge of the Yough River and in nice weather you can sit on the patio and watch the ducks, fisherman and rafters on the river. The only problem we had when we were there was the food is rather overpriced (about $6 for a burger), making it a rather expensive place to go on a regular basis or with the whole family. But if yo want a secluded restaurant for a romantic getaway or you want to go out for a drive and enjoy the Southwestern PA scenery this should definitley be your destination. less
