We're sitting on the beach in Mexico very much missing Reggie's Island Grill in Vacaville, our home. This restaurant has the best fish dishes in the entire town and surrounding areas. The wine list is huge and fairly priced. The banana fritters are to die for. We've eaten there about 5 or 6 times since they opened and we've never been disappointed. Our favorite waiter, Daniel, is the best. Can't wait to go there as soon as we return home in March. Don't miss it!!!! less

Surprise to see this type of restaurant out in Vacaville. It's an upscale Hawaiian style place. Beautifully decorated with an outdoor patio. The food is very good but doesn't overwhelm you with portion. It's obviously quality over quantity here, but the quality is outstanding. A great place for a 'date' restaurant. Service is also outstanding. It may be hard to spot this place since, eastbound, it's hidden behind an overpass just off of hwy 80. We'll make this a regular stop on our trips through Vacaville. less
