If Heaven on Seven is booked this is a good second choice. The food is good, but not spectacular. The ambiance is fun, they have live music a good bar. For my money, you are better off to come here after dinner for the bar and the entertainment ... more

Can't believe there's not a review on this tremendous cajun experiance. I've eaten there on every trip to Chicago - and never been disappointed! Campy cajun atmosphere, Zydeco music, live at times. Good variety of cajun beers. I have never been disappointed with the food. Start out with a bowl or cup of Gumbo Ya Ya. Catfish is awesome. Even the chicken fried steak. Have all of the traditional dishes - jambalaya, etc. Then top off your meal with some out-0of-this-world bread pudding. For the lighter appetite (us older folks), I have even had a very satisying meal of an assortment of appetizers. These are usually mini-samples of some of the entrees. All in all a delightful dining experience. less
