This is a great disappointment. While the setting is beautiful, the food was surprisingly bland. The fixed price meal was $100, and it's been a long time since I've felt so ripped off. Portions were small, presentation was boring, and the service was anything-but-helpful. There are so many other wonderful restaurants in Vegas, there is no reason to go here. Even original Picasso's on the wall don't make up for such a disappointing experience. less

We went here with high expectations, and I must say, we were disappointed. The portions were small, and although tasty, nothing really knocked me out. We found the atmosphere stuffy and somehow uncomfortable. Perhaps our feelings were affected by the overall disappointing meal we felt we were having as the evening wore on. To be sure, the service is excellent, and the presentation was impeccable, but the food itself just didn't do it for me. I will say that the wine list was impressive, and in fact, we probably enjoyed the wine more than the dinner. For the money, I'd rather go elsewhere next time. less

Although considered a French restaurant, Julian Serrano brings his own unique style and infuses several mediterranean flavors and adds them to the French cuisine served at this beautiful restaurant located in the Bellagio resort. There are 2 menus to choose from; the Degustation, which is a set menu, or the Prix Fixe, which gives you a choice per course. Each course is a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth and nose. The wine list is extensive, and includes a large selection of Spanish wines difficult to locate in the U.S. The amuse bouche is a delightful way to start off and peruse the setting of the restaurant while sipping on a cocktail or mineral water. The restaurant is a grand space overlooking Lake Bellagio (make sure to request a seat near the window to view the fountain shows!) The interior is awash with low light upon beautiful flower arrangements, wine-vaulted ceilings, and Picasso paintings and sculpture. Having only tried the Prix Fixe menu, I can say the choices are difficult. This is not a place to rush through the meal. As back at Masa's, Julian Serrano makes sure each course is enjoyable from its presentation to its finish. From warm Quail salad, to warm asparagus, to Chipotle glazed short ribs (which just melt in your mouth, no knife necessary), the feast was enjoyable. The desserts are on a separate menu, and are difficult to choose from as well. The molten chocolate cake was incredible, as was the Tart Tatin. Can't wait to go back for more! less
