My friend declared our recent meal at Pho 88 "the best meal we've ever had." This is saying something since we have been having culinary adventures together for about 20 years. Of course, we had just survived a 'near death' experience on Interstate 4 so we were primed to enjoy life. The knockout dish for us was the squid sauted with onions and jalapenos. The squid was perfectly tender with the lightest crispy coating. The jalapenos added just the right spice without being hot. The other entree we enjoyed was chicken, shrimp and vegetables in a sauce over crispy noodles. Also very good and a nice complement to the spicy squid. We can never pass up summer rolls...they were excellent with a fantastic dipping sauce. A hearty cabernet sauvignon brought all the flavors together brilliantly. Service was fantastic. We will be back. Soon. less
