Worth a visit to experience how well factory style restaurants are done. The best known name for crab on the Eastcoast. They package and sell retail frozen prepared versions of the specialty. It seems the same product is served here. No bad dishes but you can tell individual preparation is a foreign concept in these kitchens. Plenty of parking but everyone waits to sit. The waiting area is huge as required by the long wait times. less

The best known name in Maryland when it comes to crab. Maryland is the best place in the US for crab. So what do you say about the best of the best. The high incidence of travelers amoung the diners is the result of omnipresent advertisments. Everywhere you go or look, the Phillips name is shining out in bright red letters. This leads to hugh numbers of guests at the door every day. The food is only average. But given the crowds, that is nothing to be ashamed about. The place is a factory. Standardized product of reasonable quality is guaranteed. Just don't go with the expectation that it will be the best meal on the shore. less

We've gone there for the past 10yrs...Never been let down yet !! The variety is second to none & the freshness is unbeatable--food is always replenished nothing ever goes empty like at some buffets. Overall, the food was very good with a large variety of items to chose from. The only drawback is the occasionally long wait during the summer season, but that improves in the fall and winter months. I have recommedned this restaurant to friends ... more
