My family and I come here off and on when we are in Chinatown. The food has always been good. Last weekend, I came in for dinner for my mom's birthday and the meal was decent. I was a little concerned with the state of the restaurant...dirty bathrooms, walls, etc. Then came the truly disgusting event, there were slugs crawling out of the walls and ended up on our shopping bags. Yuck! Pass on this place until it gets cleaned up. Try the Great Eastern up the street. less

A relative took us here and he knew what he was doing. Where else can 4 adults and one child eat all they want in San Francisco for under $25. We went on Sunday and the place was full of Chinese. I think we were the only Anglos in there. Have fun and try everything - except the lychee things.
One warning, the bathrooms were pretty rough - trash can more than overflowing. less
