Horrible experience for our first time. All the cloth chairs at our table full of grease, food spots, disgusting! 18.95 for a seafood platter that had 1 peice fish, 2 fried shrimp, and 3 scallops, poor service, no bread to table, ordered ice tea and coke, got water in 1 glass. The list goes on & on. I can't even get ahold of any manager to report this too!!! less

Excellent service + a great view of the river and Space Center + great food justifies higher than average prices; unfortunetly 2 out of 3 does not. The quality of food seems to be steadly going down hill with few exceptions (such as their homemade clam chowder and coconut cream pies- excellent). Most of their menu items are no higher in quality or taste than the local car hop joint a mile or so north on US1. We dined their (Paul's)last evening and were very disappointed - even my water glass looked as though it never made it through the dishwasher (dried up BBQ sauce on exterior of glass). We love the owner Paul and understand he's been trying to sell the place for quite some time but don't understand why he's not in more control of what comes out of his kitchen. less

I remember this place from back in the 1970s when it was a two room brick shack. Now, it's a nice large restaurant on the Indian River. The bar is upstairs, and there is plenty of seating on a screened porch. The place has a very nice atmosphere with great views of the Cape and Shuttle launches. Unfortunately, I think the food has lost some of the original quality over the years. I usually order their smoked pork rib plate. More times than not, the ribs are tougn as leather and sometimes taste that way, too. We still come here a couple of times a year just for the view if nothing else. less
