cheap sushi now a days seem to be a misnomer or an oxymoron, but this place is the real deal. on shattuck its got good selection, of course being sea food, always go on tue-fri as the fish markets are only open from mon-fri. why start tue, well monday's fish is probably left over from friday's market... i liked the onagi, which is eel...tuna rolls are always delicious. personally, i liked the sashmi combo plate the most. less

u know, japanese restaurants are in general really expensive. but this place surprised me. they didn't have my favorite sushi (mirugai), but i really like the price. very affordable 4 students! i just wish they would've given us complementary ... more

u know, japanese restaurants are in general really expensive. but this place surprised me. they didn't have my favorite sushi (mirugai), but i really like the price. very affordable 4 students! i just wish they would've given us complementary miso soup. this is the only japanese restaurant i know so far that doesn't give you complementary soup. oh, well. it's cheap. u can fill up on sushi and it'll still come out to around $20-25 for two ppl. isn't that great? less

anyway, i suggest you go there if you're already in a good mood and stuff.   it's a _fun_ place.   don't go there expecting anything fancy. less

Made me feel ready to chow some Japanese fast-food: sushi. I've been getting ill at other sushi restaraunts recently, so I always go here now. They always do me right. Maybe they do a good job of avoiding the nasty chemicals the Japanese love to put in their yellow and pink pickles :) less
