I think it is just greasy seafood. I ordered She-Crab soup and it was really salty, although my husband said it was not 'that bad'. I also ordered shrimp burger , it said on the menu it was their best. I was not impressed that much. The place was not that clean at all either. I dont think I'd waste a lunch or dinner overthere if I am in Beaufort again. less

Food not very good in general...I have eaten there several times and tried different things. Overpriced as well. When I complained (very respectfully and in a low voice) that the Frogmore Stew was VERY al-dente, I was told in a LOUD voice, by the manager that it states plainly on the menu that they steam their FS and that they had no way to get the vegetables "mushy". I was given the choice of taking it home and cooking it there to my satisfaction or leaving it and paying half price for it because after all, they DID cook it for us. Puh-leeze, lady... less
