But the American will still stand for houres like an idiot to eat here! We were in Fargo on vacation and the hotel staff sent us there only to later find out that there is an authentic place in Fargo... I think it was called santa something. less

Other than their bottemless soop/salad/breadsticks for something like 5+ bucks, I avoid this place with a passion. Just another chain dressed up to look classy so they can sell overly-priced food. Yes, the majority of the food is good, but the overall dining experience is lacking. If you really want good food and good service, don't go to a chain that does it on a mass scale! That's one of the clearist rules to dine by. And if you order a drink from the bar, you have the right to feel cheated. But, atleast your wallet will be lighter. <br> Disclaimer: Don't go to the olive garden if your on a diet and want to maintain it. Ask them for a nutrition list next time...you'll be ashamed for gloutny... less

During my last trip "out west" with my late husband and our Winnebago, we spent several happy days in Fargo. When I'm on the road, I try not to eat at chain establishments, but The Old Man insisted and I gave in, even though I wanted to go to some place called "Grazie's" near our hotel. This Olive Garden is just like the one back in Michigan: same menu, same drinks, etc. etc. I ordered San Pellegrino and it arrived warm (points off there). The caffe latte was mediocre but I ordered two anyway. I had some specialty pasta dish (don't recall what) and it was okay, but just okay. My husband was pleased with his meal. The service was very friendly - as are most people in Fargo - and we got in and out quickly, but didn't feel rushed. However, next time I'm in Fargo, I won't feel the need to return here. less

The salad and bread before you meal is almost too filling. The lunch special of soup and salad is a great value. If your a big italian lover this is the place to go. less
