This is by far the most consistent sushi restaurant in St Mary's county. It's not amazing, but on a Tues or Fri (those are the days the fresh sushi comes in), the yellowtail sashimi is as good as or better than most middle of the road sushi places in Washington, DC. Good sushi portion size, good rice-to-fish ratio of the maki, and occasionally they have interesting specials like chutoro or maki with mango. A rare find in DC, this So. Maryland spot has maki with real crabmeat. Negatives: huge difference in sushi quality depending on the day you go. Stick to Tues & Fri. Also sometimes the rice is over vinegared. I have never had the teppanyaki or hibachi items. less

For lunch, I had the bento box combination of tempura and chicken teriyaki. The tempura was very good and crispy and the chicken teriyaki was nice and tender. My only complaint might be the quantity served but otherwise the restaurant is very nice ... more

For lunch, I had the bento box combination of tempura and chicken teriyaki. The tempura was very good and crispy and the chicken teriyaki was nice and tender. My only complaint might be the quantity served but otherwise the restaurant is very nice looking with an almost new with a main sushi bar and high side tables with a separate section for teppanyaki or hot grill cooking of steaks and seafood. less
