My Fit Foods is all about pre-packaged, prepared, healthy food. You walk in and they have refrigerators on the wall with all the meals they carry: breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as snacks. They are made without preservatives so they are good for 4-5 days. Everything has also been cooked so you just need to warm it up - about 2 minutes in the microwave. The reason this idea has grown from its first store in 2007 to 50 locations today is that the food tastes good. The fact that they can make healthy food easy to make and taste good at the same time is the secret. I would recommend good morning sunshine, oatmeal, turkey pasta, gimme more chicken wrap, and Atlantic baked salmon. The turkey pasta especially has great flavor! Brown rice pasta with ground turkey and tomato sauce on top with rich spices makes it some of the best red sauce pasta I've had. They take all of the guess-work out of making healthy meals and do it for you. All you need to do is go in and pick up what you need. The staff is really friendly and can answer all the questions I need answered. I now know what quinoa is, and what exactly the glycemic index is because of My Fit Foods. There is no membership or anything like that, just pay for the meals that you need and you are good to go! They recommend eating five smaller meals a day so three meals and two snacks a day. My Mom and Dad both ate this way for three weeks during their "21-Day Challenge" in order to try and lose some weight and get healthier. My Mom lost 6 lbs and my Dad lost 10 lbs during three weeks! My Dad has continued to lose weight since they did the challenge two months ago, and is now down 20 lbs total (which means he has to buy new clothes - wow what a good problem to have right?) less
