Deeeelish! I am never dissatisfied when I eat at Mimosa, for lunch or dinner. Apparently, they brought on a new chef just about a year ago, and the difference in the quality is amazing. I heard the new chef came from Wolfgang Puck's Spago! Lobster Mac & Cheese is so good. Never in my life have I had pork tenderloin so juicy and tasty. Everytime I ask for a wine suggestion, I am not disappointed! Mimosa is without a doubt one of my best finds here in Charlotte! less

All of the Harpers Inc restaurants seemed to have dwindled off in the past three years. Lower class Barbeque menu from Harpers now at Southpark and Woodlawn, and mediocre dishes from Mimosa and Zink. Upstream still seems to be the number one for food out of the company. Hopefully the owners and corporate management will realize that with prime locations, they need to have a prime menu, not something that is comparative with Applebees, and Hops. Next thing you know, they'll have meatloaf and collard greens, or possibly a nice beef tenderloin with a side of pork rinds....eek....I guess we'll see. less

This resturant sits just off the Wacovia Main Plaza and is a light, airy, open resturant with many nice views. The menue is small, but the items are interesting and has something for everyone. My wife and I had She Crab soup (wonderful) and Hushpuppies stuffed with rock shrimp, sausage, and etc. (out of this world). Our entrees were Alaskan Salmon, and Double Pork Chop. Both were cooked just right and were moist and tender. The only down was the cream burlee as it was dry and tastless. The signature desert is the coconut cake and we should have had that. Service was attentive and excellent and would dine there again. They are also open for lunch. less

When they changed the menu a few months ago- they went to upscale haute cuisine. Small portions, high prices, tasteless pasta dishes. Mimosa used to be a wonderful place to get a delicious tuna entree - but no longer. It is catering to young and trendy and seems more interested in presentation than flavor. We were disappointed. less

Like this place a lot. Nice indoor and outdoor seating in First Union atrium. Had our Near Years Eve dinner there. They didn't overbook. Food was very good and not super expensive. Nice varied menu. Little bit of everything. I recomme ... more
