WOW!!!! This place has GREAT food!! If you are going for lunch you can get a meal for under $10 and you will never go away hungry that's for sure. The ribs are amazing, but then again....everything is good here. It's a very cool atmos ... more

The best barbeque in Eau Claire, but hey, Kansas City is north of the San Jacinto.... Mike's DOES do it right. He smokes the meat over real, slow fires burning imported hickory. The sauce is a little mild, to my taste, but I have never had better meat. This place is always crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, with a long line. The trick is to call in an order, then pick it up from your car at the drive-up window! Be sure to try the Cajun fries (if you like spicey), they're sprinkled with an authentic mixture of fire and salt. The servings are generous. If you're from out of the area, Mike has Leinenkugels beer on tap - it was a local secret 'til Miller bought them, but it's still the same brew. less
