Been here about 6 times and have never been disappointed. Their Gorgonzola cream sauce is killer and can be ordered w/ any pasta dish per request. They don't have too many non-meat options so I usually have to alter a pasta dish so I can dine ... more

Been here about 6 times and have never been disappointed. Their Gorgonzola cream sauce is killer and can be ordered w/ any pasta dish per request. They don't have too many non-meat options so I usually have to alter a pasta dish so I can dine here. If you can sit towards the back in the "wood room" the atmosphere is much more pleasant and romantic then having to sit in the bright open room and far less crowded feeling and much much less noisy. The acoustics in that room kinda suck. They have decent desserts though nothing can top Ristorante Portafino in Pacifica in that department. I'd say this is a somewhat upscale place to dine and I like to dress up a bit, but it's difficult to say this is a fancy place or dine because most of the patrons are wearing very casual attire which makes me feel far over dressed which sucks! Seems like a place has to have a mandatory coat and tie policy for patrons to dress up. Some restaurants just look and feel like one should at least put some effort into their appearance for the sake of have fun dressing up, but I guess many are lazy and just don't care anymore. So sad! less

My favorite restaurant on the coast - and I am a local. They have just moved to a much nicer location up the road in Princeton by the Sea, in the historic Princeton Inn. I don't have the exact address, but go 4 miles north of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, and turn left at the light (the only light between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica) into Princton Harbor. Follow the road as it curves around by the harbor, and you will eventually see the Princeton Inn on your left in the town area. I agree with all the other raves. The new location will be great for them, since the historic Princeton Inn is a colorful spot. It housed rum-runners and a brothel in it's prime. less

This one is really a surprise. It look kind of uncomfortable from the outside, but once you sit down... I think the service is friendly and knowledgeable, the waiters are real italians who know the foods and give good hints on that is good today. Eve ... more

Every time we have been there the food was of consistent great quality. It really compares with restaurants in Italy. The tastes are very well developed. Everything tastes fresh and I usually have an experience like "wow - I didn't know this could taste so good". Very recommended. less

The veal and chicken portions are quite small -- and when you add on the additional a la carte selections necessary for a "good" eater -- it can get pricey. 2: For frequent "I don't want to cook tonight" eating out -- the lack of a reasonable "house wine" is a negative. less
