The food is awesome but I wish they had an area that was completely closed off from the bar. It's not great eating a terrific meal while people are screaming at the tvs and each other. It's just too convoluted and noisy. As I said, the food is terrific and like nothing else I've ever had but I'm just not inspired to go often between the parking in downtown Melbourne and the craziness from the bar crowd. less

You'll see all the fun-people here and, on weekends & holidays, a pleasantly joyful crowd so thick that you might have elbow your way through, drink in hand, to get closer to the heart-throbbing Irish Balladeer of that night. MEG O'MALLEY'S has it all, and is one of the best and most authentic Irish Pub-crawling experiences this far west of the Emerald Isle. It's MY favorite, of all in Melbourne, and I'll hope to see you there. less
