There are a lot of restaurants in the area, but we keep going back to our old reliable, the Meadows Diner. In fact, when my mother-in-law visits from out of town, it's where she wants to go every time. There is often a wait, even on weeknights, but the waiting area has very comfortable seating. The salad bar is nice, and often includes stuffed grape leaves, which you don't often see. There is also usually baklava in the baked goods case. My only complaint is that there aren't more Greek foods on the menu. They used to offer a very good spinach pie, but I haven't seen it on the menu in a long time. Gyros are available. Otherwise, it's a pretty traditional Italian/American menu. Regular dinners include both soup and salad, but there is also a "petite menu" where you can choose between them. I am a big eater, but I still usually have leftovers from the smaller size meal. Reasonable cost, friendly people, good coffee. What more can I say? less
