I have been to McKees at least 30-40 times over the last ten years. The McKee family still owns it and has run it the whole time. The food is typical diner fare, primarily hamburgers and sadwitches, along with breakfast anytime. The food is reasonably priced and pretty good, but won't win any awards. Somewhat similar to a Denny's or Jim's only cheaper and less sophisticated. I like it. less

I have seen busboys clear tables for people who are standing in line waiting for a seat. Quite popular. They have a regular crowd as well as people who want to eat in a 'come as you are' type atmosphere. Service is usually good. less

Sometimes, when they are crowded service can be a little slow, but I guess that is with any restaraunt. Nothing fancy, but a good place to eat with fair prices and open 24 hours. less
