A definate destination must. If you're in Destin visit McGuire's. McGuires is memorable when you walk in the door. Dollar bills cover every aspect of the walls and ceilings. The bar is decorated with womens bras. McGuires makes their own rootbeer. The ten dollar burgers are delightful and there are tons of topping choices. The potato skins are an awesome app choice. McGuires is a truely special dining experience. Oh, and double check those tricky bathroom signs before entering. less

This is a MUST in Destin and Pensacola. The atmosphere is great: very Irish and it reminded us of a great pub in Ireland. Very friendly. Tables are close (but that doesn't detract) and it's noisy (what pub isn't?). We ended-up dining here three times during a 5-week stay in Destin. <br> The burgers are legendary! Huge!!! The Vidalia Onion Burger was awesome and the Garlic Burger lived up to its name. There are 37 types of Burgers and one is the Garbage Burger with just about everyting imaginable on it. Burgers are served with lettuce/tomato/sliced onion, pickle and french fries. There aren't many who will finish a burger. <br> Each "Deli" sandwich is really 2 meals (you'll take half home). The Corn Beef was the best I've ever had and the Pastrami was wonderfil. Deli sandwiches are served with McGuire's homemade chips (get a side order, too), potato salad, pickle. <br> Every day McGuire's has a special. On one visit we had the Yankee Pot Roast ($7.95) and on another, the Shephard's Pie ($8.95).Like everything else at McGuire's these were large servings and wonderful. <br> They brew their own beers and root beer. You must have the "Senate Bean Soup" at 18 cents for a cup (great). If you have enough room, don't miss the Bread Pudding (We got one and 4 of us nibbled at it). <br> You will wait for a table - plan on it - for either lunch or dinner. The entire ceiling and many of the walls are covered or hanging with dollar bills tacked up by patrons (there's supposed to be some $35, 000 strung all over the place). <br> Doi yourself a favor and don't miss McGuire's - it's an experience!!! less

Really should be a five star but I'm being stingy. Order a mug of Irish Red and a Sausage platter and you're in....BIG. Watch out for them appetizers though, they're so big (you should see the small chef's salad) you might miss the ma ... more
