WOW! The Michigan Magazine TV crew visited and featured this marvelous restaurant and when you walk into the lobby area you most certainly are WOWED! The food is perfection! Maxfields is a little out of the way.....a destination place...but is well worth the drive. Casual or formal attire is comfortable here...from blue jeans to Tuxedos! We had two different types of Perch...pan fried and deep fried.....they are some of the best prepared in the state! Behind the scenes the kitchens are spotless with specialty chefs on staff...including a Su Chef and a Pastry Chef! Staff curteous! Sheryl our host was magnificant!...........They are famous for their various Buffetts and on special occassions like Mothers Day....CALL AHEAD for reservations!....otherwise just show up!
