Massie;s has been around for so long because they serve great food in a casual, comfortable atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable, particularly given the portions that they serve (just enormous). But large portions that don't taste very good would be like AM stereo radio, and with Massie's that is not a concern. They will have you wanting to come back time and again so that you can try different dishes. One last thought: their brasciola is the BEST I have ever had, by far!! less

I think Massie's has the best Italian food in the Glens Falls area. They've been there a LONG time, so they must be doing something right. There are two sections...one VERY casual and on the other side is a more formal dining room. Still, it's all very comfortable. They have a huge menu, and there are children's portions too. Everything is just delicious! less

This place is an institution in the area. think Italian? Think Massie's. I remember when I was a lad (some time ago) Massie Russo used to walk amongst the tables and ask how the food was. It has been handed down from generation to generation. It is a throw back to the continental dining era right down to the relish trays served at each table. The Russo family has spawned generations of retrauntuers. Just down the street is one of the off spring. Pat's Dugout also serving fine food in the Russo family tradition! less
