I went to Manny's with a client and his partner...three guys who can really eat steak. Here's the lowdown...steaks as big as you can imagine, lobster by the oz., chicken for sissies only, a load of hash browns sized to make a trucker blush, a pan of brocolli the size of a putting green, and asparagas dropped off at a lumber siding. And wine! They had Silver Oak and they had Opus, and they had 30 dollar bottles that were excellent as well! The three of us vowed to spend $1, 000.00 on dinner and did...with the tip. This is a one-time best place you can go. Any more than that and you'll need a home-equity loan. Absolutely the best! Loud, smokey (in the bar)just the best. less

One of the best steaks I have eaten in my life (and I am a 58 year old carnivore). I learned from the recording on the telephone while waiting for the reservations person that their dress code is "upscale casual", whatever that is. My wife and I could not get in the restaurant on the evening we were in town but they could seat us in the bar where the same menu was available. We had a great waiter; I would tell you his name if I could remember (I already told you I am old). The place is rather dark so I had trouble reading the menu (old, remember?) but our waiter very efficiently told us about their selections. Expensive but GREAT steak. less
