I have been going to Magothy Seafood for the better part of 7 years now, and it is still the best place around Annapolis to go and have crabs, beer, and a great afternoon/evening during the summer. Whether you drive down Ritchie Highway to get there, or come up the Magothy River and dock your boat, Magothy is the place to go. Say Hi to Cap't Don and Miss Linda, the owners, and be nice to the waitresses, cause they're outside in the heat of the summer, making sure your beer is cold, and the crabs are HOT !!! less

My review is strictly rating the steamed crabs. I have been coming to Magothy Seafood since I was a little girl when this was just a carry-out place that also sold snowballs. The crabs here are OUTSTANDING. They use rock salt, instead of just old bay, and the flavor is amazing. This is a great place to go with your family and just sit by the water, eat crabs, drink beer, and catch up. A very casual and pleasant atmosphere, especially during the summer months. less
