If you have kids and are traveling anywhere close....drop in. The food is good midwestern food, in large quantities. The atmosphere is fun, and the short wait that happens at times...just flies by. Sort of a like a Cracker-Barrel...but better. more

This place is the best food in the midwest. The servings are absolutley huge, (you will definetly not go away hungry). Had the chicken fried steak, and they brought me a side of beef. LOL it was huge. 2 of us couldn't finish it off. The breakfast ... more

We arrived at 7:30 PM to find the place absolutely packed, yet we were seated in under 30 minutes. The "Burnt Ends" we had for an appetizer could have passed for a main dish, as 3 of us couldn't finish them! They were excellent! The rest of the entrees arrived hot & Very good, also. You will not walk away hungry from this restaurant. Iowa food served up hot & plentiful. Total tab, including drinks was just over $35.00 for three people. Very reasonable & worth the trip! less
