Not being a "Steak & potatoes" guy, I still will have to give Mac's a good rating for their entire menu. However, based on the rest of the table's reaction- the steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection- a "great" rating. The interior decor is tasteful with a Native American flair and the deck is the place to be if you can get out there. Like everyone else has siad- be prepared to go early or wait outsde to get a table- limited seating at a very popular place. less

Best steak I had the whole time I lived in Maine. Went there for lunch on many occasions. They have a butcher on site and serve delightful cuts of steak cut to perfection. The Mini-Mac, a 7 OZ filet, is perfet for lunch and only about $10. You couldn't do better at the grocery store. Not only is the steak quality very high, they have the best rubs. Appetizers are very good, try the stuffed mushroom caps. less

Seating is limited, even during the summer with the expansion of the deck area. <br> I would recommend the use of a reservation or timing your arrival just before meal time. less

Mac's Grille is a hopping and wonderful place to go. It is two storied and most of the wait people are very alert. Their steak rubs are flavored so well that they are superb. Their fish offerings here I would say are not worth getting. Their steak offerings are melt in your mouth good. Their appetizer of coconut shrimp is great here but small and only for one person for sure. Their salads are large and very appetizing to say the least. Their desserts are a must here and they are large in size and definitely serve two with no problem. Mac's Grille is the place to go for steak for sure and everyone would like one cut or another. Plan to go here at an off hour as it fills up fast and it is not large as it looks outside. less
