This is an AWESOME ice cream place. Of course, ice cream is under $5, but if you want to take some home, they have frozen packs or you can have them pack one for you. This is not your ordinary ice cream shop! First off, all of the ice creams are made fresh on premise! The owner,George Lydon,has traveled the globe to perfect his art of his frozen delights. But don't go there unless you truely want a REAL old fashioned ice cream treat. The flavors are RICH and wonderful. His flavor creations are often seasonal,so he may not have the pumpkin spice in July. But do try one of his many special feature flavors. One of my favorites is coconut with swirls of dark chocolate...it's like licking a Mounds Bar! The scoops are not for the faint of heart, either! They can be a meal in themselves! Once you've had a scoop of Lydon's, I'll bet you'll never settle for mass produced factory ice cream again! GOOD LICKS! less
