Louie's rocks! The food is great, especially the salad and bread sticks, as mentioned. Even better is the atmosphere...kind of old-timey tavern-ish. It's small and slightly cramped, which makes it interesting. A lot of Waukegan politics takes place there or you can eavesdrop on couples or parties. Look for the big clock, and tell the friendly waitress, Rhonda, hi! I am told that Louie was the brother of the owner of Quonset Pizza. Worth a trip anytime! less

This is one of my husbands and mine favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is meant for a nice dinner for two and then sit at the long antique bar for after dinner drinks. The sallad and bread stix are great, you can make a meal of that but then you'd miss the great Italian food. Enjoy, this is a really nice place to eat! less
