We wanted to experience "real" Memphis BBQ and were recommended Leonard's by many Memphians. The onion rings were amazing and enough for three or four people! The catfish was fresh, fried but not oily, and went perfectly with Leonard's homeade hot sauce. The ribs were tender and flavorful with and without sauce. They were just as good cold the next morning! I'll never go back to touristy BBQ joints in Memphis again! less

I was taken here by locals. After eating at Charlie Vergo's (home of dry dub ribs) I was ready to dig into some "wet" (with sauce) ribs. Well, this was a great choice, as the ribs (and just about everything else in sight) at Leonard's was indeed worth writing home about. Nice sit-down, family-friendly eating place, with lots of great Memphis-style barbeque (or barbecue or BBQ, whatever you like) available. Well worth a visit, well worth your rib-picking while! less
