The taste of the food is the reason to travel to this first class restaurant and the service is what makes Leila’s Bistro special. We were greeted by Jennifer, the co-owner/hostess who makes the operation runs like buttery foie gras (which is on the menu), and were served by knowledgeable waiters, all of whom have worked for her for a number of years. They do a superb job, anticipate our needs, know our dining habits and are all friendly. My guests were impressed with the food, service, staff knowledge, and fun ambience that is apparent. Some fine dining restaurants can be "stuffy" but this does not happened at Leila’s Bistro which is a small beautifull space with great ambiance. We took our own wine, which was served in the correct glasses, and then ordered a salad of warm roasted vegetables over greens, the fish of the day or the veal chop and finished with tasty desserts and coffee. For this excellent food created by the chef/owner Jose we have been to Leila’s often and will be returning soon. As it has become the place to go in Jenkintown be sure to reserve in advance.
