Though the cuisinier offers sophisticated dishes like his specialty foie gras, the food is not spectacular; however, the food overall is respectable and reasonably priced. I did enjoy the fact that the cuisinier experiments with different tastes. We did not enjoy one of his desserts, and the waitress was quick to remove the charge from our bill and give our feedback to the kitchen. The view from that part of the river at night is worth a visit for anyone from out of town. less

This is one of the best little known spots in Chicago for a casual summer dining experience. The restaraunt is run by a French family who live in the attached house. They have built an outdoor dining area with waterfall and tropical birds. You have to bring your own wine, but thats a plus in this city. My wife and I eat there often and the service and atmosphere are always excellent. As another reviewer stated it is not pure traditoinal french cooking, but it is made to order and is very good. less
