Le Bistro was quite good. Fresh, California/French cuisine and excellent service. The cuisine seems a bit more traditional then original. The décor is pleasant and you can view the small kitchen from your table. This was a really pleasant meal without being extraordinary. The soups were excellent. The crème brulee was ok, but was not great. Overall, it was well worth it, but when I am in the area, I prefer Lolo’s. less

Definitely a restaurant to eat at. I have tried almost everything on the menu and loved it all. A couple of my delicious favorites: The celery leak soup, the oven roasted chicken in a dijon sauce served with creamy mashed potatoes and the slightly more expensive Filet Mignon served with a cabernet reduction and topped with gorgonzola cheese. Everything on the desert menu is tasty as well. The service is excellent and you can see the chef(Corey Basso)in the kitchen from one of the 10 tables. Le Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Petaluma. less
