On Sunday, August 6, 2006 I came into your restaurant after church. I ordered a "diet plate", which, according to the menu, consisted of a piece of grilled chicked or hamburger with a salad. I am on the low-carb diet, plus I have to watch my sugar intake. The first time the waitress brought me french fries, a piece of grilled chicken on rice with salad dressing but no salad. Then I told the waitress that was not what I ordered, so she took it back to the Manager, whose name is Todd Wilson, only to return to tell me the manager said that WAS the "diet plate". The second time the waitress, by this time was merely an innocent by-stander acting on behalf of Mr. Wilson, brought a salad with chicken cut into pieces in it. That STILL was not what I ordered, but I ate it anyway! Before leaving the restaurant, I requested to speak to the manager at which time Mr. Wilson came out. The above story was explained to him; all of that time he showed no change of expression or regret for the mistake. All he did was apologize, which I found void of meaning and sincerity, causing me not to accept that apology. At the VERY least, he could have had the decency or courtesy to come to my table to make the order right, but that "dirty work" was done by the waitress who was in no way to blame here. I told Mr. Wilson I would never return to his restaurant nor recommend it to any of my family and friends. less
