A local favorite in Alamo Heights, La Posada has no need to advertise. The signature bean soup is extraordinary, and the service is attentive without being pushy. The owner, Ramiro, keeps a watchful eye and ice tea glasses rarely get empty. The beef fajitas, served flaming, are quite good and though I rarely remember to save room, the sopapillas are nearly perfect. For those who imbibe, I highly recommend the frozen margaritas. Visit La Posada once, and I'm sure you'll be back. less
