We just walked in on a Wednesday night (admittedly the Red Sox were playing in the World Series so everyone may have been in a bar or at home watching the game)and had no problem getting a table for the three of us. <br> The room was quite warm, what with the fireplace and the heat being on, but not unbearable. <br> Dinner was excellent. Two of our group had the salad, which was very fresh and huge. I had the escargot, excellent, plump snails and lots of garlic. <br> For dinner I had the Duck Confit which was a special that night. Skin crisp and the meat moist and full of flavor. Not too much fat and very tasty. It was served with pureed root vegs and a side of carrots and brussel sprouts. <br> The others had the tuna and the fish papiote (spelling?, in parchament) both enjoyed it. An OUTSTANDING restaurant. A small restaurant, two rooms with four tables each. Romantic atmosphere. A fireplace in each room. Food is to die for, desserts are sinfull. Many entres and deserts are prepared tableside. The entire staff is freindly and helpfull. It is ALWAYS a memorable meal, well worth the price. Jackets and ties are required, reservations a must. Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the area. less
