La Bamba is a Mexican restaurant on the Ohio State campus that boasts “burritos as big as your head”. It's not necessarily hard to handle, but it's easy to love. <br> While they might not be quite the size of your head, they are big burritos. A regular burrito features your choice of steak, pork, barbeque chicken, chorizo (a spicy Mexican sausage), and avacado and bean for the vegans amongst you. <br> You can add refried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion to the mix, which is included in the price of the burrito. For an extra charge, you can also add avacados, sour cream, jalapenos, and rice. <br> The Super Burrito can be had for roughly a dollar more, and it comes on a tortilla that looks like a large pizza crust. <br> I favor the Combo, which is a mix of steak and pork. And I don't skimp on the toppings. I get everything on it including the add-ons you have to pay for. Throw on some of their excellent house-made salsa, and you have a true Mexican dining experience without traveling thousands of miles to do so. <br> The best thing about La Bamba is that they're open late, for after the bars close. <br> If you were unsuccessful trying to pick someone up at a bar, do yourself a favor and pick up a La Bamba burrito. You will quickly forget about lost love by discovering a new love...the best burrito in Columbus. less
