This is the place for a unique dinning experience. Norht Italian food. The chef studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York. Worked at Po, Babbo and Italian Wine Merchants in New York before opening this restaurant. He and his wife are from Mississippi. Our dinner was wonderful. We had Pan Roasted Gulf Shrimp, Prosciutto di Parma (salt cured ham) with Grana Padano cheese, a delightful salad with mixed greens, walnuts, caramelized onions, sauteed portabellas, goat cheese, and champagne vinaigrette. For our entrees we had two pasta dishes: Pappardella all' Bolognese and Spaghetti (not a tomatoe base). It was all worth ordering again. I grew up in Oxford, but moved away in 1969. I still have family there and visit often; this is a great place to have first class dinning; its as good as anywhere in the whole South. less
