Atmosphere is cheesy (nothing light way too much fluorescent light to make sure you can see your food.) This place is also quite noisy. Not the best place for an intimate dinner out. This place has excellent Korean food and is highly recommended for that purpose. Service is extremely attentive in case you don't know what goes with what. less

At lunch time, they offer a simple buffet but plenty to fill up on and at a nice price. Besides the kim chee (3 types), some items I enjoyed were beef short ribs, deep fried chicken bits, zesty chicken wings and a variety of sushi! The buffet line snakes through the restaurant and it usually moves a bit slow so pack the plate well on your first trip and head back for seconds later. Comments: I went here with a friend for the first time last night. We were seated. The restaurant is nothing to look at on the inside or out (though the parking-lot's packed-ness made me think that the reviews here couldn't all be wrong). Imagine a Jack In The Box that's a restaurant. The decor is that dull. It's also not quiet. That said, everything else is incredible. We ordered the dinner (A) for two ($39.99 total). At first, we thought that it seemed moderately priced (more than what the look of this place warranted). However, let me just say, without going any further, that every serves-number on this menu is divided by two! (dinner for two could EASILY serve four). That being the case, you could get a dinner for one ($19.99 total) for two people to share without any problem. At first, they had brought a few things and we weren't sure what to do but then the friendly hostess VERY kindly showed us what to do (and helped us several times). We started laughing when we realized they were bringing us fifteen+ side-dishes to go with our five main dishes (Egg-fish rolls, sauteed octopus, rice-cake beef soup, Korean noodles and beef, and the lettuce leafs). There were so many side-dishes: Seaweed both for topping and to wrap for sushi/gimshi; boc choy (spelling?), cucumbers, tofu, teriyaki and spicy sauces, spiced lettuce, spiced cabbage, rice, spiced veggies, barbecued anchovies, and others I have forgotten. Also, though they didn't refill the egg-fish rolls, octopus, or beef, they KEPT bringing MORE AND MORE of everything else, to the point where we had to take home two boxes because we were completely STUFFED. Bottom-line, though the atmosphere is nothing to look at, the food and service are both quite EXCELLENT and I HIGHLY recommend Korea House for INCREDIBLE Korean food in excellent portions. less
