This restaurant has moved nearby from the location stated above, but don't bother. The service was good. The food was average at best. I had the "Georges Special", which was no more than average deli meat slapped on poor quality french bread. My wife had a shrimp salad, essentially half a bag of grocery store salad mix with canned or frozen baby shrimp dumped on top. My son ordered a link of boudin, but we weren't told that they were out until everyone else was served. Worst of all, my daughter chose this place for her 7th birthday dinner, hoping to get some crawfish. Unfortunately, the restaurant management chose not to let us order half a fried crawfish plate, so we had to pay full price for an adult size lukewarm portion. How hard can it be to produce half an adult-sized order of fried crawfish and fries, especially since they were clearly prepared well ahead of time? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...THERE ARE MANY BETTER CHOICES THAN THIS PLACE...TRY DEMPSEY'S ON COURSEY...MUCH BETTER FOOD, LOWER PRICES, AND INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT. less

I ate on the "restaurant" side of the place, and just wasn't impressed with the food. Otherwise, the service was good, plenty of parking was available. less

WOW, this place was hard to find, but was it ever worth it. Its a little hole in the wall, restruant on one side and bar on the other. I always ate at the bar and had a great time on each visit. Oysters were always great, along with anything else ... more
