Johanna's Kitchen has been in Sandy since 1972 and is popular with the locals. They serve breakfast all day and specialize in made-from-scratch and traditional American cooking. The drink selection is really varied, everything from coke products and several specialty drinks to root beer and cream soda made from their own recipe. They have amazing coffee, too. Some of the best things I have tried are the scones, homemade raspberry jam, biscuits and gravy, quesadilla, and the breakfast burrito. My favorite meal is the Pot Roast Dinner. The dinner came with a ceasar salad, too, which i greatly enjoyed. It also came with a scone on the side. Now let me tell you, the folks at Johanna's KNOW how to do a good scone. The pot roast dinner was very well portioned, and I was also impressed with their homemade mashed potatoes. The early bird special came with a freee slice of pie, so i decided to try key lime. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Im glad we decided to stop by and i will definitely be back! less
